Foggy morning

Aamukävelyllä sakea sumu, toimistolle päästyä mitä kirkkain auringonpaiste. // During the morning walk the fog was t-h-i-c-k and as soon as I stepped inside the office the sky was bright blue again.

White to brown

Lian, pölyn ja mudan paljastuttua lumen alta tuntuu kukoistava kevät hetken hyvinkin kaukaiselta. // By the time the snow melts both the city and the forest are covered with dirt, mud and dust. For a little while the blooming spring feels like a distant dream.

From Anzio to Nettuno

Pitkän lounaan jälkeinen merenrantakävely johdatti viereiseen kaupunkiin jäätelölle/kahville/aperolille. // After the long seafood lunch at Anzio we took a walk by the seaside to the next city, Nettuno, to enjoy the afternoon coffee/gelato/aperol.

Ah, ne leudot illat! Illallispaikan metsästykseen ei tarvinnutkaan varustautua hanskoin, huivein eikä etenkään pipoin. // The night temperature was super nice surprise. No need for gloves, scarf, beanie..

Jos kävelyllä ylipäätään täytyy olla määränpää, valitsen tämän. // If there´s got to be a destination for an evening walk, this is my choice.

Parasta mahdollista tekemistä aurinkoisena lauantaipäivänä. // The place to be on a sunny Saturday.

Vaikkei lämpömittariin katsomalla uskoisikaan, muuten on lupaavan keväistä. // First pussy willows spotted. Smells like Easter!
