Jos.. näkisin lunta ekaa kertaa elämässäni tänään, haluaisinkohan: haistella, nuolla, syödä ja heitellä sitä ilmaan - tai kenties sukeltaa kinokseen pää edellä? Mikki ainakin halusi. // If I would see snow for the very first time in my life today, would it make me want to sniff it, lick it , eat it, dig it, throw it into the air or dive into it? At least it made Mikki to do all this.

Ei hassumpi duunipäivä, jos ja kun siihen sisältyy sekä kakkua että kirjaimien askartelua kaikissa sateenkaaren väreissä. // I´d call it fairly good day at the office when there´s cake & crafting of multicolored letters included.

Sairaspäivän paras juttu oli yllätysvieras, joka taikoi hetkessä herkullisen vuohenjuustosalaatin lounaaksi. // What would be a better cure for flu than warm goat cheese salad for lunch cooked by a surprise guest.

Jätkäsaaren makasiinit ovat saaneet naapurikseen rivin legotaloja. // Lego buildings have been built right next to the old warehouse area.

Vaikka töihin mennessä on hämärää ja kotiin palatessa pimeää, ympärillä on ainakin kaunista. // The only possibility to leave work before it´s dark again would be before 4PM. But again, then I´d miss this lovely twinkling moment.

Tähän voi kuvitella mitä dramaattisimman auringonnousun hyytävän kylmänä talviaamuna. Toki kuvasin sen, huomatakseni unohtaneeni napata muistikortin lukijasta kameraan aamuvarhaisella. // Imagine the most beautiful pink sunrise at the seaside on a crispy Winter morning. Point and shoot just to notice you forgot to insert the memory card to the camera while leaving home early.
